HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY SID!!!!

Today is such a special one it's Birthday time for you...  we'd really like to celebrate Your happy day with you.  Zip-a-dee-ay and heigh-dee-ho, here's something we can do.  We'll sing a song that we all know, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!

I can't believe it has been 8 years since Sid came into our lives..  It was a surprise that he came so early...  As we were not expecting him until July.
This little boy has changed my heart and my life...   He is the sweetest little boy..  He loves to laugh and to make you laugh.  He is such a sweet one with all around him.  He has his own little agenda and he will NOT go from what he thinks is right (I wonder where he got that from)  He has the best smile and cutest laugh..   Nothing at our house is a secret..  all you have to do is talk with Sid for 5 mins. and he will catch you up on everything we have said or done since the last time he has seen you.

He has grown so many ways since his birth..  Yet, he is still such an innocent one..  We love that he is still so innocent in all he does.

This year Sid, you completed the 1st grade...  You did well..  you continued to excel in math, you loved History and Science...   You began to read.  You are growing and changing in so many ways, your love for learning is wonderful.

You love to be outside or anyplace your big brother is.  How you love Robbie.  Robbie gets annoyed that you are always following him, but then with a gentle reminder from mom and dad that you do it cause you look up to him and love him.  Robbie then smiles and lets you join.  :)

You love to use your thought process all the time.  You love to build sand castles, play with your army guys, play with legos, and nerf guns.  It is fun watching the imagination work...  :)

We are so thankful that you have made the choice to be baptized (in the morning).  We love that you are so excited for that.

We love you and we are so thankful that you are apart of our family...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

We have had a great couple of days..  Friday we got together with some of our homeschool friends and went mini golfing (first picture) We love our homeschool family.  This year Gaga was able to join us for our adventure of mini golfing.  After golfing we were supposed to have a picnic at a park but the rain decided not to let up, so we ended up at the science zone playing..   Saturday (yesterday, the last 2 pictures) was track day.  Thankfully the rain stayed away until we were done...   Sid got 2 blue ribbons and 1 red  (blue is 1st place and red 2nd)  He was so excited but then quickly said I should have gotten a yellow (3rd) so I would have one of each.  He is so funny!!!   We had a GREAT day with Gaga and even Daddy took the day off to come and join and watch.  :)    Robbie also received 1 blue and 1 red...   (he didn't race as much as he has a cough)  For dinner we ate at Outback for Sid's birthday..  :)

We hope you have had a wonderful weekend..  This is only the first of a few posts..  as Today is Sid's birthday and we will have cake and ice cream and gifts later  and tomorrow is Sid's baptism...    :)

Happy Birthday, Sid! A little late. Sounds like a great birthday though. Sid is looking so grown up. He is such a handsome little guy.
