A Sunday SHOUT out!!!

HELLO!!!!! Okay it is Sunday, not much has happened since Wednesday when I posted.

Lets see..... Wednesday we got the seed planted for the grass out back. YIPPY!!!

Thursday, play group, Sid's school, Sids ear doctor appointment, home, scouts.

Friday, I had 6 kids here. WOW!!! I even braved taking all of them to Sids doctor appointment. I made it there and back, and then made lunch and we all (yes 7 of us) went to the park and ate lunch and played. Came home and played in the sprinklers on the front lawn and had a water gun fight. I praise all of you mom's who have more than 2 kids. :)

Saturday, we cleaned from sun up to sun down. Nothing exciting about that. Other than we have a clean house house. Love that.

Sunday, we went to church came home ate, went back to church for a scout meeting, came home then went outside and played (digging weeds) in the back yard. Then we got to start a fire. Love having fires in our backyard.

That is our week in a nut shell if you want to read more go to the post with the pictures. :) We love you all. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Shad if you are reading this Happy Birthday and I love you.

Museum, Museum, Museum and Utah

Okay, I am late posting. Sorry to all those who read on Sundays. We went to Utah Sunday morning and left at 3 am and got back this afternoon. It was a good trip and we had fun. We realized that it is way to hot in Utah for us, we like the Wyoming weather.

This last week plus a few days we did three museums. It was awesome. We did Crimson Dawn with Jeannette and kids and then we went to the planetarium with Ron and the kids and then today on our way home we went to Fossil Butte National Monument. They were all fun.

It was also our 12 year anniversary on Saturday the 18th. Kennen worked and then we went swimming and to dinner. Yes, all four of us went. What would an anniversary be without all of us??? My husband is the best, he gave me some yummy candy and a dozen red roses. What more could you ask for? I love him...

While in Utah we were able to have a BBQ with my mom, Jack, Shad, Jenny and their kids, grandma and grandpa, Mike and Kelli and their kids. It was nice. We were able to spend the night with Shad and Jenny and the kids had a great time together. We woke up Monday from there and went and spent the day at the farm and then about 5 left to go to Logan to visit Kennen's family. Left Logan this morning and came home. We went a different way instead of I-80 which was a nice change.

We are all doing well, tired but good. We are all glad to be back home (not that we don't love to visit it is just very tiring for us). The first thing the kids did when they got home was get on their bikes and scooters and went to play with their friends.

We hope all is well with all of you. Oh there is one other thing. We bought the suburban it did wonderful on this trip. BUT...... We have now named it the bird magnet. It has killed 5 birds in the 1 month that we have had it. Crazy!!! Never have seen such a thing. Anyway. We love you all.

Carnivals, Playing and Grass

This week has been nice. It has been HOT. Yes, it gets HOT in Wyoming. Some may think it is always cold here but it is not.
The boys and I went to the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo minus the Rodeo. We had a good time. The boys got an all day pass for all the rides they wanted to go on. We went from noon til 7 pm. It was fun but crazy. I took 3 bottles of water thinking that would be enough we ended up drinking 11. After the boys rode the rides we went looking at the exhibits and the animals. One of the exhibits was a hands on science zone out of Oregon. It was awesome. The boys had a great time. Thank you to Luke and Kelsey. Luke rode on the rides with Robbie and also took Sid on some.
We went on a picnic at the park and the kids played and played and played. The bikes have been out and lots of miles put on them. Dirt, rocks, hammers and whatever else boys can conjure up has happened. Lots of fun. We made birdhouses for scouts and now Robbie and Sid are ready to paint theirs. (something to do this coming week or even later today)
We also got new grass this week. YIPPY!!!!! The boys have had so much fun playing in the sprinklers and watering the lawn. It looks alright and it is no longer weeds so that is a plus.
That is our adventures this week. Hope all is going well with all of you. We love you.
P.S. Yesterday was my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday DAD.

Week of July 4th 2009

I can't say if we were busy or not. It has been a strange week. It has rained a lot. Friday Casper was flooded, in some areas you could only see the roof of vehicles. It was CRAZY!!! In between rain we tried to have fun. We went to Fort Caspar Museum. They about died when we walked in. There was me and Stacy with 9 kids and 1 teenager. It was pretty funny. The kids had a blast and are excited that we only have 2 museums to go to enter the drawing.
On July 4, 2009, we took the boys to a demolitions derby (mud bog) It was so awesome. The boys had a blast. The loved the old faithfuls, fires, crashes, mud everywhere. It was great to watch them having so much fun.
That night we had a bbq with the 4 of us then played outside until about 915pm when we loaded up and headed to watch the fireworks. They were nice.
While we were outside we got to watch a baby bunny. It was so cute. It looks big in the pictures but it really was just very tiny.

We hope you all had a wonderful week as well. Hope your next week is great. I want to tell Laurie and Clay congratulations on baby Leah. Glad she made it here safe and you are all doing well. We love you guys.
Also, I want to tell Keelie thank you for taking our family pictures. They turned out awesome. (if any want to see them, let me know. I will post some later) We are going to miss you all when you move. Good luck in Idaho. Love you guys.

Keep safe and always remember we love you.
