Fathers day, ER visits and Friends

We had an eventful week. Fathers day was wonderful, we just hung out as a family. We went up to the waterfalls and had a great time playing in the water. The falls are beautiful and it was fun hiking on the mountains surrounding that area. (pic. is Mary Ann and Mikah) Wednesday night we had Linsies birthday party. We had yummy cake and ice cream. When we got home that night we looked at Sid and his little eyes were a mess. You could not see the color of his eyes. we thought that they had sunken. We got him loaded up and off to the ER we went. Come to find out he had a sever allergic reaction to something. To what we do not know. He know is living on Zertec, benedryl, steriods and an antibiotic. ( I do not know how he is functioning)
Friday, we went to the museum. We need to complete 6 museums before the end of July. So on Friday we hit 2. Thankfully we went to the Werner Wildlife one. I finally got a picture of the white deer that lived on the hill across the street that I kept wanting a picture of. So here she is. We loved watching her from our front window, and was sad we never got a picture of her. The other museum we went to was the Veterans Memorial Museum. The boys loved that. They loved seeing the uniforms and all of the cool things there. Thanks Jeannette and kids and Stacy and kids for joining us. Always lots of fun when we are all together.

So I got pictures of Robbie smiling and thought you all would enjoy. This week one of my friends is going to take our pictures and I am so very excited about it. Can't wait.....
This last picture is of our family at the falls. Like I said it is very pretty. Don't you all want to come and visit now????

Saturday we had some friends come up from Cheyenne and they spent the day with us. It is always fun to have them come and visit. Thanks MaryAnn and David for coming to visit for the Day. Hope you all had a great time.
We hope that this finds all of you well. Hope you have a great week. Love ya.

A week of new things.....

On Saturday June 20, 2008, I had the privilage to drive to Billings Montana and escort a friend through. I love being an escort cause you get to go through the same process as if you were going through your first time. A wonderful refresher. Thank you Kelsey for letting me be your escort, I had a wonderful day. Isn't the Temple beautiful. Thank you Jeannette for watching Sid all day for us. You are a wonderful friend.
This is our new suburban. Isn't it pretty???? It drives so wonderful. It has been in 3 different states in less than a week. NICE!!!!!

Look at the cutest DVD/Video shelf ever. It is against a yellow wall and the shelfs are red, yellow, blue and green. Spanking cute. Yes, I did color not just white. Is everyone impressed???

This is the wonderful swingset we built. Isn't it huge? It took me, Jeannette and sometimes Kennen weeks to build. But, it was so worth it. All 5 kids love it. (Robbie, Sid, Hayley, Linsie, and Jack)

Okay, so here is the scoop. We have been busy busy busy. We have been to Denver as a family. The boys and I have been doing summer things when it isn't raining. Saturday, Kennen and Robbie went to cub scout day camp and I to the Temple with Kelsey and Luke. Jeannette took Sid for the day and I so owe her big time. Sid was so excited to spend the day with her, Ron and the kids. I so hope he was good for her. (3 different states in less than a week, I think I am becoming the wondering gypsie)
Today is fathers day, I would like to wish all of the men out there Happy Fathers Day. Some may not be fathers but if you have touched anyones lives it is also your day. Thank you to all of the men in our lives. Thank you for helping, teaching, being a friend, loving and everything else to our family. I have had lots of men in my life that have helped me out a lot. Yes, they are not all family but they have made me whom I am today. Thank you to my dad, my grandpa's, Shad and most important of all My Sweet Eternal Companion and the bestest daddy to our boys ever. Happy Fathers Day also to Pop, Chris, Marty and Gerald. Hope you all have a wonderful day today. We love each and everyone of you.

New car, new swingset, new bookshelf

So these are the things that have kept us busy. Sorry I am so late. Crazy times at our house.

So today is Thursday 4 days late is better than nothing at all. Last week Kennen and I finished the swingset and made a shelf down in the basement turned out stinking cute. Glad the swingset is done that was huge. (Pop I know you read this so it is done so you can come and visit us now).

On Monday we drove to Denver and bought us a new car. We bought us a 2002 Suburban. I love it.

Today is Thursday and I had to take Sid to the doctors. He has a bad throat and has had an allergic reaction to some bug bites poor little boy I can't get the fever lower than 101.5. So the Doctor put him on antibiotics (not anything with Amaxacillion in it) so hence it was pricey.

Saturday, I get to go to Billings Montana and be an escort for one of my friends through the Temple. I am very excited. Been stressful figuring out what to do with Sid. Thank you Jeannette for being an amazing friend and taking him for me.
On that day as well Kennen and Robbie will be at Cub Scout Day camp. They should have fun.

That is our news thus far. I will post pics later. Love you all.

A FUN TWO WEEKS

Okay, we have had a lot of fun the last couple of weeks. First it was Sids birthday. For his party he wanted Jeannette, Ron and kids and Tammy and boys to come over for a hotdog and marshmellow roast. So that is what we did. We had a great time. I can't believe my baby is 5 years old. Where does time go????? Thanks Jeannette for helping with the swingset, yes we are still working on it. It is huge and oh my it is slow going. I am hoping by Monday it will be done. That is the goal at least. School is out yippy for summer. On the last day of school my mom came to visit. She spent a week with us, we had lots of fun and was on the go constantly. (See wyoming isn't all bad) We were able to go to two movies, we went to UP and Night at the Museum. Both were GREAT shows.
Sunday we got up and went to South Dakota to Mt. Rushmore since mom had never been there before. We spent the night in Rapid City and did the black hills gold jewelry tour (this is where they make the jewelry) it was pretty cool what I was able to see of it. Robbie decided to throw up in the middle of it. Then we went to Dinosaur park which is pretty cool and then off to Storybook Island. Storybook Island was amazing, I can't wait to go back there again. From there we went to Stergis South Dakota and then to Spearfish. While in Spearfish we went to the D.C. Booth Historic Fish Hatchery. That was way awesome and gorgeous. After we left there we went up to Devils tower Wyoming. Which I think it is very pretty. That was the end of the weekend and the rest of the week we hung out and went bowling and mini golfing. Thanks mom for a fun week.

After mom left, the boys and I went to Natural Bridge. So super pretty there. I am glad Jeannette called cause now we have somewhere we can go and enjoy a beautiful scenery and just let the kids play.

So, my friend Tammy has moved. I am wishing her good luck with were ever they end up. We love you and we will miss you.

Off to work more on the swingset. Hope you all have a wonderful week. Love each and everyone of you.
