Merry Christmas, Happy New Year....

I took the boys sledding,  we had a blast.  We hadn't been since our first winter here.  We went with some homeschool friends.  This hill is by their house.  I am so glad they invited us now we know of a little hill that we all can enjoy.
Sid at the bottom of his run....  :)  (top picture)     Robbie coming down the hill he found.  :)  (bottom picture)
Christmas Morning...   The boys woke to see if Santa had arrived...  of course and here is their pile of presents.

Sid was so excited that mom and dad got him the combat ship from cars 2...   He has been playing, playing, playing with it.  It is great fun, he has put all the "bad guys" in the ship.  It is a carrier.  :)
Robbie received this......    from mom and dad...  can't tell he was excited huh????
Sid had a loose tooth...   we told him that Santa and the toothfairy couldn't come on the same night...  woosh!  he wouldn't let anyone pull it so Santa came one night and the Toothfairy the next.  :)
Christmas Day after church,  the boys talked us into going sledding again.   Daddy got into the action of going down the hill with the boys.  Kennen and Robbie would dare each other to go face first on their bellies.   It is so fun watching Kennen and the boys.  How I love them.  :)
Robbie...    concentrating........   Will he go onto the frozen river???   yep!  he will...
Sid laying down...   going fast..  :)
The day after Christmas we took the boys up to shoot.  They had a GREAT time.   I can't believe all the snow.
Robbie shooting his gun for the very first time.  :)   He LOVED it!!!
of course Sid had to get into the action of it all...   So we took up the airsoft gun for him.  :)
Robbie and his new gun...  :)
we hope that you
we hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Years Eve.   We had a GREAT one.  We spent some much needed time with the 4 of us.   The snow has continued to fall here...   I received a burst of energy and painted the frontroom and hall between Christmas and New Years..   Now that has a fresh start.  :)   We are thankful for the blessings that 2011 brought to us and we are also thankful for the trials.  We have had many that we were not sure how things were going to be turning out.  The Lord knows us and He hears and answers our prayers.  It may not be in our time frame but he does and then He uses us for good for others.  We have found this out time and time again.  We have been put in places for reasons.  We are thankful for the Gospel and we are thankful that we have a new ward and callings serving the youth.   We are thankful for the priesthood. We are thankful for doctors whom listen to the spirit that tells them to recheck reports that have been checked before by other doctors.  For this I will be forever grateful.  For those who don't know.  I had to have my thyroid removed.  The pathologist missed something on the biopsy and the first doctor didn't catch it.  When the cyst came back they sent me to a surgeon and the surgeon caught what the pathologist missed and the first doctor.  Now I am feeling healthy and happy.  We are thankful for the opportunity we have to teach the boys from our home.  To help them learn and grow every single day.  How I love my job.  I am truly blessed to have a loving and supportive husband who allows me to stay at home with the boys.  :)  We are praying that 2012 is a healthy year for our family.  We also pray that it is a healthy and happy one for all of yours.   We love you all.....

On the 12th day of Christmas.....

On the 12th day of Christmas....    I am so thankful for my dear sweet eternal companion.  I am thankful for his gentle ways, his loving heart and his tender words.   I am thankful that he is willing to serve the Lord and the youth of our church.  I am thankful that he is an example to the Young Men he works with.  I am so thankful that he has been who he is and stands up for what is right.  I love that the bishop comes to me and tells me that I married a GREAT man.  That I chose wisely.  :)   ( I think I did well)     I love the wonderful father he is to our two boys.  I love that he loves to be home with us...   I am grateful that he is willing to do things with us, even when sometimes it is something he doesn't want to do.  (like black friday shopping)   I am thankful for his help around our home.  I am thankful for all of the LONG hours he puts in at work to provide for us.  How I love this man.    Thank you Kennen for all you do for us.  I love you so very much for time and all eternity.

On the 11th day of Christmas.....

On the 11th day of Christmas...  I am thankful for Robbie.   I am thankful that he is such a good example to his brother.  I am thankful for the time he spends playing and being with Sid.  I am thankful that he chose to be ordained a deacon and take on the priesthood and its responsibilities.  He loves being a deacon.  He loves passing the sacrament.  He is starting to come out of his little quiet shell.  He makes us laugh and wonder what those blue eyes are thinking.   He is good at school (when he sets his mind to it)  He loves video games and watching movies.  He has an imagination which I love...  :)   I am thankful for this little boy (okay not so little anymore)  I am thankful that he is part of our family.  I love you Robbie!!!

On the 10th day of Christmas....   I am thankful for Sid.  I am thankful for his sweet personality.   I am thankful for his sneak attack hugs.   I am thankful for his willingness to help me even without being asked.  I am thankful for his words that makes us laugh.  He is a blessing in our lives.   How I love this little boy.   I love that he learns and does on "his" time.   It has been a challenge for me to accept this, but since I have school has been so much smoother.  :)   I love that he will build and play..  He has such a wonderful imagination.  He has imaginary army guys and he tells us all the time what his army guys would be saying or doing.  I LOVE IT!!!!!     I am thankful that Sid is part of our family.  :)   I love you Sid!!!!
